Whoops! I missed a week. Not only of TWTWC but of blogging altogether! Big whoops.
Oh well, what I like most about this blog (and my life at the moment) is that there are no rules!
So, in this fortnight that was captured, I did the following:
I crafted some home-made washable sanitary pads out of some nappies a friend gave me, and they actually work. And are comfy (ish). I’m very pleased with them and the money they will save me.
I got our room ready for students coming next month. I’m hoping to build a holiday fund from the money we make.
We went to see Up and Down with the kids. I was given the tickets in return for a review and we loved it. It’s for pre-schoolers, so Betsy was a bit on the grown-up side for it, but if we’re honest, they both loved it. A sweet introduction to theatre for littles.
I also gave away some seed butter we’ll never use through a food sharing site and spent a sunny Sunday on the beach.
K excelled herself in looking fabulous in readiness for the theatre, and made a lovely sign for the playhouse saying ‘Ladybird Options’. We also agreed a code word of ‘fish’ for when tantrums are running away with us and we need a quiet cuddle.
I captured my week for the lovely Hannah’s ‘The week That was Captured’ linky over at Make do and Push.
(I never did baby books and did well to keep everyone clean and fed when they were littler).
I love this linky, as it prompts me to write and to reflect on my week. And I hope this blog will be something for me and my family to look back at.
